Brian was born and raised in Plymouth, Massachusetts. After graduating from North High School, he worked for many years as a mason and a painting contractor, among other jobs. He joined The Church of the Pilgrimage staff as Sexton in 2009. The friendliness of people at the church makes the Sexton job his favorite occupation in his long career.

Brian describes himself as a happy person. He is an avid guitarist who enjoys playing ballads, country, and classic rock music with a small band. During good weather, he enjoys the relaxation of fishing.
